Final Agenda

NASA’s unique government initiative, NASA iTech, seeks out cutting-edge technologies with applicability to NASA’s mission. For the 2018 NASA iTech Cycle III, the agency is identifying strategic technological innovations that have the potential to meet demands of life on earth and space exploration.

Through a competitive selection process, NASA has crowdsourced solutions in the areas of Big Data & Data Mining, Artificial Intelligence & Autonomous Robotic Capabilities, Revolutionary Concepts for Communications, Medical Breakthroughs, and X-Factor Innovations. From these submissions, NASA’s Chief Technologists will select the ten finalists with the greatest potential to commercialize their technologies and address solution to problems in space and here on Earth.

At the Forum, finalists will present and workshop their solutions. During the two-day event, you will participate alongside innovators, scientists, investors and industry leaders in a series of impact tables with each of the finalists, and a series of thematic discussions with leading subject matter experts. NASA will recognize the top three innovations, as judged by NASA experts at the close of the Forum.

Attire: Business

Accommodations: Rooms are available at the Hartford Marriott Downtown located at 200 Columbus Blvd, Hartford, CT 06103. Reservations can be made online at the rate of $159 a night plus tax. Attendees may also call 877-901-6632 to reserve their room. To cancel a reservation, you must contact the hotel directly three (3) days prior to the day of your anticipated arrival.

Parking: Self-parking fees for both the Hartford Marriott Downtown and Connecticut Convention Center are $3 for the first hour and $2 for each additional hour with a $19.00 daily maximum. Valet parking is also available at the Hartford Marriott Downtown for $23 daily. Valet parking is located behind the hotel at the back entrance.
